| The all India Prakash Chandra Ghosh Memorial full length drama competition has entered its 57th year under the management of Bengali club and young men’s Association and is being celebrated from 23 December 2023 until 9 Jan 2024
From 7 PM onwards. On this auspicious occasion, we remember all those theatre personalities, whose enjoyment started this competition, and who have been protecting the continuation of this competition with infinite courage. this year We have a total of 17 teams participating from various parts of the country, specially from Delhi and Kolkata. Indrajit Mitra, Probir Dey and Reena Biswas will be the judges for this competition this year.
On the opening day, Bengali club has honoured 2 renowned personalities of the Bengali community Bhaskar Bose and Subrata Roy(Babul Da) for their contribution in the society. Amit Ghosh grand son of Prakash Chandra Ghosh has inaugurated the 17 day-long drama competition. General secretary, Shri Shanker Bhowmick informed that this is the only full length, Bengali drama competition pan India. |
